I was inspired by the dark iridescence of plums, blackberries and grapes, combined with the lightness and brightness of calla lilies and tulips. I painted this picture almost all my pregnancy. Little by little, I started it just after the news that my husband and I were expecting a child, and finished it shortly before her birth. I think it is charged with an easy pregnancy, a safe birth and a happy motherhood.
